Urban-Eco Consultants Ltd. is a Vancouver-based consulting company. We specialize in studies of population growth and change and the impacts on housing, land-use, business and society.

Jim Smerdon is the director of Urban-Eco Consulting.  He graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1996 with his BA in Geography. Since graduating, Jim has worked in the fields of demographic forecasting, income analysis, economic trending, and seniors housing studies. Jim's recent work has covered a wide range of issues, from forecasts of labour force and housing to Economic Development Strategies, retail impact studies, and Development business plans.
